
Indoor Track and Field Excels in Boston

BOSTON – Track and Field had a productive weekend in Boston, recording several top-ten finishes and putting several times atop Tulane's record books. The Wave attended Harvard's Crimson Elite and Boston University's Scarlet and White Invite, where they dominated in individual events.
Jada Johnson placed third in the Pentathlon with her new personal record of 3645 points. She is now ranked seventh in Tulane's all-time scores for the event.
Egbe Ndip-Agbor placed fourth in the 200m invite with a time of 24.15, the third fastest time in Tulane history.
Leah Kennedy secured a personal record of 17.58m in the weight throw, the second furthest distance in school history. Sofie Groninger also threw a personal best, landing Tulane's fifth-best all-time shot put distance of 13.68m.
Janae Dean placed 13th of 68 in the 800m with her time of 2:07.92.

Tulane will head to Chicago for the Windy City Invite hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison from Feb. 14-15.
