Indoor Track and Field Back in Chicago
Feb 13, 2025 | Track & Field
CHICAGO – Tulane Indoor Track and Field is headed to the shores of Lake Michigan this weekend to participate in the University of Wisconsin's Windy City Invite. There, the squad will aim to raise its rankings in the NCAA and AAC while Paula Vaquera will look to break the Mexican women's 3000m indoor record.
Tulane runners took on the 45th Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational in October 2024, where Caroline Jeptanui broke the Tulane record for women's 6k with her second-place time of 19:04.85. Bernard Cheptanui came in fifth in the 8k while Jack Jennings earned 12th. The Wave will attempt to repeat its Chicago success this weekend.
