Naibei and Diaz also annihilated the 3000m, placing second and third, respectively earning silver and bronze. Their times of 9:28.85 and 9:29.95 were crucial to the team effort.
The 5000m was anchored by Blezzin Kimutai and Paula Vaquera, who ended it in second and third place with times of 16:27.59 and 16:29.60
Egbe Ndip-Agbor placed fourth overall in the 200m, nabbing a personal record of 23.87. She previously ran a personal best of 23.89 in the qualifiers to clinch a spot in the finals, which she then rewrote once more.
