CHARLOTTE, NC – The American Atheltic Conference foe University of Charlotte women's tennis team defended their home court on Sunday and handed a 4-0 defeat to Tulane.

The 49ers took the doubles point with scores of 3-6 and 0-6 at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectively.Â

Tulane's Campbell Ricci and Jiayun Zhu each won sets at Nos. 1 and 4 singles, respectively, but the 49ers took the Nos. 3, 5 and 6 matches.

The Green Wave (6-5) will be back in action at home at the City Park Tennis Facility next Monday, March 10 as they take on cross-town foe UNO at 2 p.m. CT.
