Tulane Falls to Conference Foe Memphis 4-2 at City Park Tennis Facility

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis lost a conference battle to Memphis Friday afternoon at the City Park Tennis Facility.

The Tigers improved to 6-11 overall, while Tulane drops to 9-9 on the season.Â
The Green Wave grabbed the doubles point to start the match with wins at the #1 and #2 doubles. Campbel Ricci and Leigh Van Zyl grabbed the 6-3 victory on court 1 while Micah Pierce and Summer Chandler grabbed the clinching point on court 2 with a 6-4 score.
Campell Ricci (#1) scored the second point for the Wave with a 6-2, 6-4 victory on court 1 over Leonie Moeller.
The Green Wave is back in action Sunday versus La Tech at 12pm at City Park Tennis Facility. Live stats will be available for the contest.
