Wave Hits the Road for Ironwood Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf returns to the course this week for the Ironwood Invitational hosted by East Carolina on Monday and Tuesday. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at Ironwood Golf and Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.

The Green Wave will be represented by Gabriella Gilrowski, Francesca Pompa, Cristina Albertazzi, Matilde Innocenti, and Ruhee Pandit in the starting lineup for the tournament.

The three-round tournament will open with a shotgun start for the first round at 7:45 a.m. CT on Monday. Tulane will be paired with East Carolina, North Carolina State, and Virginia Tech for the first day of play. The starting positions for Wave's lineup are listed below:

Tulane will be one of sixteen teams in the field for the tournament including a pair of ranked teams and two conference opponents. The two ranked teams in the field are No. 41 North Carolina State and No. 49 Virginia Tech while the fellow American Athletic Conference teams are tournament host East Carolina and Memphis. Rounding out the remaining teams in the field are Elon, Boston, UNC Greensboro, Radford, William & Mary, Jacksonville, Bethune-Cookman, Jacksonville State, Austin Peay, Stetson, and Lehigh.
