Tulane Opens AAC Championship on Monday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf will hit the course in Brooksville, Florida, on Monday morning to compete for the American Athletic Conference Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be hosted at Southern Hills Plantation Club from Monday through Wednesday, April 16.

The Green Wave will look to win the conference tournament for the second time since joining the league in 2014. Tulane claimed the team title in 2022. In last year's conference tournament, the Wave finished 10th with total team score of 902 (+39).

In the first round of play on Monday Tulane will be paired with players from Charlotte and UTSA. The Wave will be represented on the course by Gabriella Gilrowski, Francesca Pompa, Matilde Innocenti, Cristina Albertazzi, and Ruhee Pandit in the starting lineup for the tournament. The three teams will tee off on hole one beginning at 7:50 a.m. CT with 10-minute intervals between groups.

The 2025 AAC Championship will feature five teams in the top 100 in the latest Clippd team rankings from April 11. Those ranked teams include No. 60 East Carolina, No. 66 Tulsa, No. 69 North Texas, No. 81 Charlotte, and No. 93 UTSA. The Green Wave ranks just outside the top 100 coming into the tournament at No. 102 in the latest poll.

Fans can follow along with live results HERE. On Tuesday and Wednesdy the field will be re-paired for rounds two and three based on the previous round's scoring, with split tee times off holes one and ten.
