
Tulane Receives Bids to ICSA Team Race National Championships

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing team has earned automatic bids as the SEISA conference champions to the 2025 ICSA Open and Women's Team Race National Championships. Both championships will be hosted in Cranston, Rhode Island, from April 24-28.

The Green Wave women's team landed as the 10 seed out of 12 teams in the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship. Tulane was one of six teams to earn the automatic qualifier for the championship and the only team from the SEISA conference to land a bid. The top overall seed in the championship will be Yale University. The Wave finished 11th in the ICSA Women's Team Race Championships last season.

The Tulane open team will be the 12Â seed among 16 teams in the ICSA Open Team Race National Championship. The Green Wave again was the only team from the SEISA conference to earn a bid to the championship as one of the six teams to earn an automatic qualifier. Harvard University will be the top overall seed in the open championship. Tulane finished 15th in the ICSA Open Team Race Championship a season ago.
The ICSA Team Race Championships will be hosted by Brown University on the Providence River. Competition will start with the open championship from April 24-26 followed by the women's championship from April 27-28.
