Jun 18, 2025 | Women's Tennis
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University women's tennis has announced the addition of transfer Natalia Perez to the program for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Perez will join the Green Wave with four years of eligibility remaining.
Â
"We're incredibly proud to welcome Natalia to our Tulane family," head coach Maru Brito said. "She brings a lot of experience being one of the best juniors in the world and coming from one of the best SEC teams in the country. She is very dedicated, determined and her incredible personality is a perfect fit for our team. We are very excited for the impact she will make on and off the court!"
Â
A native of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Perez spent last season at the University of Tennessee. However, she redshirted during her lone season with the Lady Vols due to injury.
Â
Prior to her time at Tennessee, she reached her highest ranking in the ITF World Junior Rankings at #118. Perez also ranked as the No. 1 player in the Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Territories.
