DRAW/RESULTS
SAN DIEGO, CA – The Tulane women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend for singles and doubles competition at the USTA SoCal Tennis Championships at Hogan Tennis Center in San Diego.

The Green Wave will begin with Round of 32 doubles action, pitting Summer Chandler and Micah Pierce against Jayna Clemens and Teja Tirunelveli of Cal State Fullerton. Campbell Ricci and Leigh Van Zyl have earned a bye to the Round of 16, as have Natalia Fantini and Natalia Perez.Â

Pierce will face Fullerton's Seha Yu in the Round of 64 of the singles draw. Perez, Van Zyl and Fantini will open play in that round as well. Perez plays Maria Shmakova of the host San Diego Toreros, Van Zyl faces Daniela Borruel of USC and Fantini squares off with Chloe Schwartz of Fullerton. Ricci and Chandler have received byes into the Round of 32.

The tournament will cover four days, ending Sunday.
