NEW ORLEANS – Tulane kicked off its 2026 spring season with a 7-0 defeat of visiting Southern on Saturday afternoon at City Park Tennis Center.

Southern dropped to 0-2 following a 7-0 loss at South Alabama on Friday.

Alec Gaudin, Asaf Friedler and Andres Delgadillo all had a hand in both singles and doubles triumphs for the home team.

Tulane is back in action next weekend when it travels to Oxford, Mississippi for a neutral match against American foe Charlotte on Friday (10 a.m.), followed by a Saturday contest with host Ole Miss (11 a.m.).
