Bowling Tournament at Duquesne Canceled

NEW ORLEANS – No. 17 Tulane bowling will no longer be in action this weekend as the Duquesne Invitational scheduled for January 30 to February 1 has now been canceled, as announced by Duquesne Athletics. With the recent winter storm and more winter weather expected across parts of the nation, travel related issues and concerns for many of the teams competing arose and prompted the cancelation.

The event was scheduled to begin on Friday, January 30. Hosted by the 22^nd-ranked Dukes, it was set to take place at AMF Lebanon Lanes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

With the tournament now canceled, Tulane will get this weekend off from action before returning to competition next weekend. The Green Wave will travel to Lockport, Illinois, for the Flyer Invitational hosted by Lewis University. The three-day event begins on Friday, February 6.
