
Tulane Opens Spring Campaign at Paradise Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf will begin its spring season this week in Boca Raton, Florida, at the Paradise Invitational hosted by Florida Atlantic. The 54-hole tournament will be held at Osprey Point Golf Course from Monday to Wednesday, February 2-4.

The first starting lineup of the spring for the Green Wave will feature Francesca Pompa, Sophia Macias, Gabriella Gilrowski, Sophia Chen, and Cristina Albertazzi. Pompa, Macias, and Gilrowski each started all five tournaments for the Wave in the fall while Albertazzi and Chen both made four starts.

The field in the Paradise Invitational features 16 teams including the Green Wave. Tulane will compete on the course against players from Rutgers, Florida International, Denver, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Indiana, Mercer, Kentucky, Clemson, Georgia, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Colorado State, Tennessee, and the tournament host Florida Atlantic.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Monday with the opening round teeing off at 8 a.m. CT. Round two will be held on Tuesday followed by the third and final round on Wednesday.
