Green Wave Ready for Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf returns to the course this weekend for the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in Greensboro, Georgia, hosted by Mercer. The 54-hole tournament will be held at the Great Waters Golf Club from Friday to Sunday, February 20-22.

The Green Wave will be represented in the three-day tournament by a lineup that features Francesca Pompa, Gabriella Gilrowski, Sophia Chen, and Tonka Zacharovska. Pompa highlighted the opening tournament of the spring for the Wave finishing with back-to-back rounds under par to place 16th at the Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida.

The field in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational features 15 teams including the Green Wave. Tulane will compete on the course against players from South Dakota State, Florida Atlantic, UNC Greensboro, Western Carolina, Virginia Tech, Delaware, Boston College, Daytona State College, Central Arkansas, Western Kentucky, Wofford, East Tennessee State, Butler, and the tournament host Mercer.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Friday with the opening round teeing off at 8 a.m. CT. Round two will also start at 8 a.m. on Saturday before the third and final round begins at 9 a.m. held on Sunday.
