Wave Hands Privateers First Loss

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane played crosstown rival UNO in a non-conference match at City Park Tennis Center and emerged with a 6-1 victory.
The Green Wave improved to 3-2 overall, while the Privateers dipped to 6-1.
Asaf Friedler and Andres Delgadillo won at No. 2 doubles, while Alec Gaudin and Hady ElKordy did the same at No. 3. Both matches finished with a 6-4 score.
Tulane also captured five of the competition's six singles matches. Gaudin (No. 3), Lance Nisbet (No. 5) and Steven Rice (No. 6) all won in straight sets.
The Green Wave will be back in action in Tempe, Arizona on Friday and Saturday in the Diablos Collegiate Invitational. The match times and opponents for those matches will be announced later this week.
