Riptide to Serve as Grand Marshal in Krewe of Thoth Parade

NEW ORLEANS – Riptide, the official mascot of Tulane Athletics, has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the Krewe of Thoth parade on Sunday, February 15 at noon in Uptown.

The parade will start at the intersection of State Street and Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans. It will then head northwest to Henry Clay Avenue, where the krewe will turn northeast (right). At Magazine Street, it will turn east and follow Magazine until Napoleon Avenue, where it will turn north (left).
The krewe will proceed north on Napoleon until St. Charles Avenue, where it will turn east (right). It will follow St. Charles all the way to Lee Circle, circle around, and then return north on St. Charles to Canal Street.
At Canal, the parade will turn southeast (right) and continue to the intersection of Canal and Tchoupitoulas Street. There, it will turn south (right) onto Tchoupitoulas.
The krewe will continue along Tchoupitoulas Street and conclude when it reaches Poydras Street.
