
Tulane Set for Tee-Off at Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf makes the trip to Humacao, Puerto Rico, this week to compete in the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational hosted by Ball State. The three-day tournament will be held at the Palmas Athletic Club – Flamboyan Course from Tuesday to Thursday, March 3-5.

The Green Wave will be represented in the 54-hole tournament by Gabriella Gilrowski, Francesca Pompa, Sophia Chen, Tonka Zacharovska, and Cristina Albertazzi. Gilrowski highlights the lineup for the Wave coming off a top 10 finish in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in Greensboro, Georgia, on February 22.

The field in the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational features eight teams including the Green Wave. Tulane will compete on the course against players from Arkansas State, Western Carolina, Arkansas – Little Rock, Central Arkansas, Georgia State, Tarleton State, and the tournament host Ball State.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Friday with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. CT in the opening round. Competition will continue with rounds two and three to follow on Wednesday and Thursday.
