Wave Returns to Action at Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf hits the course this week to compete in the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational hosted by TCU. The two-day tournament will be held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday, March 23-24.

The Green Wave will be represented in the 54-hole tournament by Francesca Pompa, Cristina Albertazzi, Gabriella Gilrowski, Sopia Chen, and Sophia Macias. Pompa highlights the lineup for the Wave coming off a third-place finish in the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational in Humacao, Puerto Rico, on March 5.

The field in the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational features 13 teams including the Green Wave. Tulane will compete on the course against players from SMU, Oregon, Auburn, Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, Stanford, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Texas, Arizona, Duke, and the host school TCU.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play teeing off in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The third and final round of the tournament is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
