Tulane Men Drop Home Opener to Florida Atlantic

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's tennis team was defeated 6-1 by Florida Atlantic Thursday afternoon at Goldring Tennis Center in the program's first match at its new facility.
The Owls improved to 5-5 overall with the win, while Tulane fell to 3-6.
Piotr Andrzejewski (6-3, 6-1) registered the home team's lone point with a No. 5 singles victory.
Florida Atlantic took the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 2, both by 6-4 scores.
Tulane's next match is back home on Saturday against South Alabama at 1 p.m. The Jaguars are 4-5 on the season.
