Tulane Plays Two on the Weekend in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Tulane's women's tennis team is in Alabama this weekend where it will face North Texas in Saturday's neutral match, followed by a road contest at UAB.

The Green Wave (6-6) takes on the Mean Green (9-4) at 10 a.m. on Saturday. North Texas defeated host UAB 4-3 on Friday to drop the Blazers to 4-7 on the season.

The official start time for Sunday's match against UAB has yet to be determined.

Tulane is coming off a 4-1 defeat at South Alabama last Saturday.

Natalia Perez has won five consecutive singles matches, while both Campbell Ricci and Natalia Fantini have emerged victories in three straight.
