
Wave Set for American Conference Championship in Florida

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf will hit the course in Brooksville, Florida, on Monday morning to compete in the 2026 American Conference Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be hosted at Southern Hills Plantation Club from Monday through Wednesday, April 20-22.

The. Green Wave will look to win the conference tournament for the second time since joining the league in 2014. Tulane claimed the team title in 2022. In last year's conference tournament, the Wave finished ninth with a total team score of 901 (+37).

In the first round of play on Monday Tulane will be paired with players from Florida Atlantic. The Wave will be represented on the course by Francesca Pompa, Sophia Macias, Gabriella Gilrowski, Sophia Chen, and Cristina Albertazzi in the starting lineup for the tournament. The two teams will tee off on hole 10 beginning at 7 a.m. CT with 10-minute intervals between groups.

The 2026 American Championship will feature six teams in the top 100 in the latest Clippd team rankings from April 16. Those ranked teams include No. 52 Tulsa, No. 60 South Florida, No. 61 North Texas, No. 82 East Carolina, No. 85 UTSA, and No. 92 Charlotte. The Green Wave enters the conference championship ranked No. 116 in the latest poll.

Fans can follow along with live results HERE. On Tuesday and Wednesday the field will be re-paired for rounds two and three based on the previous round's scoring, with split tee times from holes one and 10. The final round on Wednesday, April 22, will air live on ESPN+.
