Tulane Wraps Regular Season in Dallas

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf travels back to the Lone Star State for the final tournament of the regular season as it will compete in the Huntington Bank Collegiate hosted by SMU. The two-day tournament will be held at Trinity Forest Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday, April 6-7.
The Green Wave will be represented in the 54-hole tournament by Francesca Pompa, Sophia Chen, Cristina Albertazzi, Gabriella Gilrowski, and Sophia Macias. Pompa, Chen, and Gilrowski have started each of the previous four spring tournaments for the Wave. Meanwhile, Albertazzi will be making her fourth start of the spring and Macias will be making her second start.
The field in the Huntington Bank Collegiate features 16 teams including 10 ranked in the top 50 teams. Tulane will compete on the course against players from Arizona, Cal Poly, Colorado State, Houston, Iowa, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, Seattle, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCF, and UCLA.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play teeing off in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The third and final round of the tournament is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
