Tulane Bowling’s 2026-27 Schedule Revealed

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University head bowling coach Hayley Veitch has announced the Green Wave's 2026-27 schedule today, with action beginning in two months in Fort Worth, Texas. The slate features 12 regular season tournaments before postseason events begin for both the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and Conference USA (CUSA). Remaining on the schedule is the Colonial Lanes Classic, hosted annually by Tulane at Colonial Lanes in Harahan, Louisiana.

The slate begins with the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference (SWIBC) I and II on October 3 and 4, respectively. Each one-day event will take place in Fort Worth, Texas. The Wave's first full tournament will be its own Colonial Lanes Classic from October 9-11. The first month of action concludes with Destination Florida in Orlando October 30 to November 1, hosted by Sacred Heart.

The fall portion of the season features two more tournaments, the first being the Bulldog Classic in San Antonio, Texas. Hosted by in-state conference rival Louisiana Tech, the event runs November 6-8. The fall season wraps up with the Track Kat Klash, hosted by Sam Houston. The tournament takes place November 13-15 in Houston, Texas.

After a couple months off, the Wave returns to the lanes in January for the Northeast Classic, hosted by Sacred Heart. The second tournament run by the Pioneers takes place in New Castle, Delaware, January 15-17. Next up is the Hammer Saints Invite in Shrewsbury, Missouri, hosted by Maryville. The event takes place January 29-31.

February features a full slate as the regular season begins to wind down. Tulane heads to Lockport, Illinois, for the Flyer Classic February 5-7, which is hosted by Lewis University. From there, the Wave will head to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Big Red Invite February 19-21. The event is hosted by conference foe Nebraska. Tulane will remain in the Pelican State February 26-28 for the TNBA Open in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which is hosted by Jackson State. The regular season will conclude in Smyrna, Tennessee, with the Music City Classic. Hosted by Vanderbilt, the event runs March 5-7.

Postseason play begins with the USBC Intercollegiate Singles and Team Sectionals March 12-14. Locations are yet to be determined. Tulane will make a second trip to Lincoln for the CUSA Championships March 17-21. NCAA action will conclude from there with regional and national tournaments before the USBC Intercollegiate Singles and Team Championships are held.

Tulane was ranked throughout the entirety of last season, finishing the campaign at No. 18 in the NTCA coaches poll. This came after the program knocked off the then-defending national champion, Youngstown State, in the CUSA Championships at Colonial Lanes. The Green Wave qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, and the program boasted a two-time All-American in Mia Stolakis.

Veitch returns to head the program for a 15th season. Her roster features six returners, including graduate student Sarah Rubi and seniors Linnea Holcomb and Juanelyz Solla. Also returning are juniors Valeria Colon, Emma Figert, and Paige Matiasek. Two freshmen are joining the squad this season: Malia Briggs and Vicky Lizarazo.
