About Laruschka Joubert
Prep:A five-time letterwinner in track and field at Noordheuwel High School in Kurgersdorp, South Africa...competed predominately int he javelin, shot put and discus while also taking part in the hurdles...set new school records in the javelin in each of her five years while earning Thrower of the Year honors during three years of her high school tenure...competed in the South African National Championships each of her five years while placing second in the javelin at the South African National Championships as a senior...led the Blue Wave to a Conference Championship over the 40 other schools in that division during her senior year...also lettered four times in field hockey and one year in netball, leading each team to a regional during her high school career.
Personal:Has one younger sister, and one younger brother.
