- Competed in six regular-season meets and the American Outdoor Championships, mostly in the discus
- Placed in the top 10 of the discus in all but one regular-season meet
- Posted a season-best 40.06m (131-5) in the discus at the Southeastern Strawberry Relays (4/13) for a fifth-place finish
- At the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4/28), took ninth in the shot put with a season-best of 10.17m (33-4.5) and was seventh in the discus
- Placed 19th at the conference meet in the discus with a distance of 38.60m (126-8)
