Career: A mainstay in the pitching rotation since arriving on campus as a freshman in 2012 from Baton Rouge who went on to become an incredibly reliable pitcher for the Green Wave…went 18-13 with a 4.16 ERA in 58 games with 41 starts…totaled 253.1 innings and 226 strikeouts while pitching in six shutout contests over his career…finishes his career ranked first in school history in most strikeouts looking (91), tied for fifth in most combined shutouts (6), tied for ninth in most ground outs (255), 10th in most fly outs (226), tied for 11th for most games started (41), 12th for most batters faced (1,096), 14th in lowest opponent batting average (.259), 19th in most innings pitched (253.1), 19th in most strikeouts (226), 24th in most strikeouts per nine innings (8.03), tied for 26th in most appearances (58) and tied for 28th in most wins (18)…was a 36th-round draft pick (1,093rd overall) of the Kansas City Royals in the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

2014 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 12 games with six starts...went 3-4 with a 5.79 ERA across 32.2 innings after missing all of 2013 with an arm injury...allowed 41 hits and 28 runs - 21 earned - while walking 15 and striking out 36...made his first appearance of the season in a relief role against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/16), totaling 3.0 innings and striking out five while picking up the win...made his first start of the season at Louisiana Tech (2/23), pitching 2.2 innings in a loss while striking out one...started against Sacred Heart (3/3), fanning six over 3.2 innings in a losing effort...notched four strikeouts in 1.1 innings at San Francisco (3/9)...pitched a single inning against Louisiana-Lafayette (3/12), at East Carolina (3/15) during the second game of a doubleheader and at New Orleans (3/19)...posted three strikeouts in a loss against Middle Tennessee (3/23)...pitched 3.0 innings in a weekend start against UTSA (4/5), totaling four strikeouts...allowed four hits and four runs in 2.0 innings against Rice (4/13)...tied a career-high in strikeouts with seven in 6.0 innings of work during a win against Nicholls State (4/29)...picked up the victory against Southeastern Louisiana (5/6) in 5.0 innings on the mound, totaling three strikeouts. 2012 (Freshman): Earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors...appeared in 13 games with eight starts on the mound...first six appearances were starts...ranked third on the team in strikeouts (46) and innings pitched (51.1)... Posted three win on the mound; against Siena (2/19-1), versus Nicholls State (4/10) and at Houston (5/13)...picked up a win in his first collegiate appearances versus Siena (2/19-1) with five innings of work in the start and just two unearned runs allowed with six strikeouts...fanned six in five and two-thirds innings in a start versus Indiana (2/26) with two runs allowed...allowed a pair of runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in five and two-thirds innings against Alabama (3/4)...allowed two runs on four hits in five innings of work at Wichita State (3/11) with six strikeouts...missed 11 games - three starts - between March 18 and April 7...allowed three hits in four innings of work against Nicholls State (4/10) with four strikeouts in the start...fanned five batters and allowed two runs on four hits in three and one-thirds innings of relief work at UAB (4/15)...allowed one run on four hits in a relief appearances at East Carolina (4/29)...threw five and two-thirds innings in a start versus Southern Miss (5/6) with three runs allowed on five hits and four strikeouts...fanned seven batters in six innings of work in a start at Houston (5/12) and allowed one run on three hits...tossed three and two-thirds hitless innings against UCF (5/26) at the Conference USA Tournament with one strikeout.
