2020 (Sophomore): Appeared in five games on the mound in relief for the Green Wave as a sophomore… Was 1-0 on the season, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing six runs, five earned, on nine hits with four strikeouts and four walks… Pitched the final inning against Florida Gulf Coast, allowing a hit with two walks and two strikeouts (2/15)… Pitched two innings against New Orleans, allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits with a strikeout (2/26)… Picked up first career win against Middle Tennessee, allowing a run on three hits with a strikeout (3/1)… Did not allow a run in an inning against Lamar, needing just eight pitches.
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in three games in his debut season with Tulane, totaling 4.0 innings… Made his first appearance on the mound in relief against UCSB, pitching 2.2 innings allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts (3/10)… Had a walk and a strikeout in 0.2 innings against New Orleans (4/16)… Pitched a shutout inning with a walk against the Privateers (4/30)... Was named to the 2018-19 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for fall 2018.
Before Tulane: A three-year letterman at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, La., under coach Brad Bass…played outfield and pitched for the Bears…team captain as a senior…helped his team to a 27-9 record in 2018…earned a 6-1 record in eight starts while limiting opponents to a .182 batting average and 1.11 ERA as a senior…posted a .300 batting average while tallying 31 RBI and 17 runs scored as a senior…led his team to the finals of the State Playoffs as a junior and the semifinals of the State Playoffs as a senior…named to the LHSAA Academic All-State Team as a senior…earned second team All-Metro honors as a pitcher by The New Orleans Advocate and first team All-District as a utility player as a senior…Catholic High School Golden Glove Award Recipient in 2018…played every position except catcher during his high school career…also a two-year letterman in football as a quarterback and was the first freshman to ever play the position in a game and just the second ever at any position…posted a 3.8 GPA in the classroom as a four-year honor roll student…President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a senior after serving as vice president as a junior has two younger brothers, Reid and Hayes, and a younger sister, Maggie.
