Career: A local product who, in addition to being a fan favorite, provided depth at shortstop and catcher during his career before playing a large role during his senior campaign…a career .176 hitter who appeared in 18 games with four starts…scored three runs on three hits, including two home runs, with five RBI…hit a home run at UCF during his senior year that proved to be the go-ahead run on the team’s way to a sweep of the Knights.
2016 (Senior): Appeared in 10 games with four starts, all at shortstop…batted .154 with two runs, two hits, two home runs, five RBI and four walks…notched a .615 slugging percentage while posting an on-base percentage of .316…tied for third on the team in sacrifice flies (2) and ranked sixth in assists (22)…collected his first-career RBI on a sac fly vs. Pepperdine (3/5)...got his first-career start vs. Furman (3/12), picking up an RBI...hit his first-career homer vs. Furman (3/13)...started at shortstop at Texas (3/20)...notched a go-ahead solo home run at UCF (4/22)...posted an RBI vs.
Southern (5/11).
2015 (Junior): Appeared in five games, playing three as shortstop while appearing as a pinch hitter in three...batted .333 with one run, one hit and two walks...recorded an at-bat at New Orleans (2/24)...reached base for the first time in his career on a walk as a pinch hitter against Southeastern Louisiana (3/17)...picked up his first-career hit as a pinch hitter against UNC Wilmington (5/29) during the NCAA Baton Rouge Regionals...had an at-bat against Lehigh (5/30) during the NCAA Baton Rouge Regionals...walked and scored his first-career run against UNC Wilmington (5/31) during the NCAA Baton Rouge Regionals.
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in two games, both as a defensive replacement...played catcher against Notre Dame (2/24) and at Alabama (3/3)...did not record an at-bat on the season. Earned Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll honors.
