Billy Heim enters his third season back at Tulane and the first working with just the men[apos]s tennis program. Heim spent his first two season working as a graduate assistant with both the men[apos]s and women[apos]s teams after he returned to Tulane in the summer of 2009.

Heim, born and raised in New Orleans, originally joined the Green Wave after graduating from Jesuit High School in 2004. At Jesuit, he advanced to the state finals in doubles in 2004 and the doubles quarterfinals in 2003, while earning all-metro honors as a senior.
He attended Tulane and was a member of the men[apos]s tennis team from 2004-05 until the program was suspended following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Heim graduated from Tulane in the summer of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Biomedical Engineering. After completing his degree at Tulane, he attended Georgia Tech in pursuit of a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In December of 2008, Heim met that goal, and now returns to Tulane this fall as the graduate assistant tennis coach for both the men[apos]s and women[apos]s programs while studying to attain an Master[apos]s of Business Administration.

Heim assists both the men[apos]s and women[apos]s program in a variety of areas, including on-court practice, coordination of team travel, day-to-day and gameday operations.
