Prep: A multiple state champion in the shot put and discus at John Curtis High School in River Ridge, La....won four LHSAA Shot Put Championships and one LHSAA Discus Championship during his high school tenure...tossed a career best 61' in the shot put at the LHSAA State Championships in May 2013 while also posting a personal best in the discus - a throw of 164' - at the same meet...earned All-American honors...was a four-year letterwinner at offensive line on the football team...the 2012 John Curtis football team named National Champions during his senior campaign.
