AS A FRESHMAN (2001-02)
OUTDOOR: Threw the shot and the discus in six events and also attempted the hammer throw once. Personal-best shot put effort of 41-00.50 in the Tulane Invitational (4/5).Also had a best discus throw in the Tulane Invitational with a distance of 138-08. Placed fifth in the discus at the Conference USA Championship. INDOOR: Participated in five indoor meets, throwing the weight and the shot. Had a personal best of 40-01.50 in the shot put at the LSU Twilight Invitational (2/15). Her best weight throw also came at LSU in the Purple Tiger Invitational (1/26) at 50-10.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2001 graduate of Highland High School, where she lettered in track, basketball and volleyball. Earned high school All-America honors in the discus and shot put and owns school records in both events.

PERSONAL Full name is Mojisola Olayemi Alade. Born February 7, 1983 in Bakersfield, Calif. The daughter of Clement and Ceceile Alade. Very active in community service organizations. Majoring in exercise science.
