Bio
2001 Indoor: Earned All-America honors after finishing seventh in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Championships. In her first collegiate race, she defeated last year[apos]s outdoor champion in the 400 and set a school record (53.26). Set a C-USA Championship meet record in the 400 with a time of 54.57 as she took first place in the event. Also anchored Tulane[apos]s mile-relay (3:45.44) and distance medley relay (11:48.41) teams which won C-USA Championships.
Prep: Finished second in the Swedish Championships in the 400 in 2000. Won the Swedish Junior Championship in the 400 in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Earned sixth place in the 400 in the Under-23 European Championships in 1999.
Personal: Born July 14, 1978 in Stockholm, Sweden. The daughter of Alice Petersen and Omar Dehhak. Majoring in exercise science.
