Gavin Ozaki is in his seventh season as a member of the Tulane strength and conditioning program, and his second as the head strength coach, where he works with the Green Wave baseball, volleyball and men[apos]s basketball teams. Ozaki joined the Green Wave staff in Fall 2002 after four years at his alma mater, the University of Colorado, where he served in a similar capacity. With the Buffaloes, he worked directly with the men[apos]s basketball, men[apos]s golf, women[apos]s soccer and track and field teams while assisting with the football squad. Ozaki began his coaching career at Hawaii-Manoa where he assisted with the men[apos]s and women[apos]s basketball teams, as well as the volleyball, baseball and softball teams from 1994-96. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Ozaki completed his bachelor[apos]s degree in kinesiology from Colorado in 1996. He is a member of the International Sports Science Association and the College Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
