In her rookie season at Tulane, Grabiec helped the Green Wave to their best year to date in Tulane's short four-year history with an 18-10 overall record and a No. 19 national ranking, according to the final DiG Poll, and the Green Wave notched their third straight winning season.
Grabiec assisted with Tulane's top pair of Jackie Wegner and Tea Juric, who once again made program history and then some. After a 19-15 campaign in 2014, the duo became the program's first 30 match winner, earning an impressive 30-11 record.
In addition, Wegner and Juric not only became the first tandem to receive back-to-back bids to the AVCA National Championships, but also the first duo to reach the Round of 16 elimination bracket for the national pairs title. Furthermore, in a highlight from earlier in the season, Wegner/Juric accomplished six straight wins to reach the title match at the Fiesta on Siesta Key Pairs Championships.
Grabiec joined the Green Wave family following club coaching stints with the East Valley Junior Volleyball Club and High Performance Arizona in 2014 and 2015 as well as a summer playing for the USA U26 National Sand Volleyball-Elite 10 in 2014 and the Arizona Region of the Premier Volleyball League the last two years.
With East Valley in 2015, Grabiec worked as the head coach with both male and female athletes aged 12-18 and helped prepare to compete in four local and two national tournaments. As an assistant with the team in 2014, she worked as a positional strength coach and implemented day-to-day practice drills. She was also a performance intern with Athletes' Performance in 2013, the head coach of the Spirit Volleyball Club 14s for the 2011-12 season and worked the Cleveland State Volleyball Camp from 2008-12.
As an undergrad, Grabiec starred from 2008-11 at Cleveland State where she posted 1,481 digs, 155 assists, 99 service aces and 10 digs in 425 sets of work with the Vikings. Her career digs total ranks second in school history, while her 545 as a junior and 447 as a senior sit second and ninth in single-season history, respectively. She helped lead Cleveland State to a combined 81-42 record, including a 26-8 mark in 2008 when the Vikings won the Horizon League regular-season title.
After completing her degree, Grabiec moved on to the University of Louisiana at Monroe for the 2012-13 academic year where she was a member of the Warhawks' inaugural sand volleyball program. That year, ULM posted a 7-4 regular-season mark and earned a spot in the AVCA Collegiate National Championship. Primarily playing with the No. 2 pairs team, Grabiec tallied a 12-12 overall record and participated in the AVCA Championship pairs tournament.
A four-year prep letterwinner at St. Joseph's Academy, Grabiec was a two-time all-district selection. As a senior, she claimed first-team all-district honor while setting school records with 516 digs and 47 aces, and also holds single-match records of 45 digs and eight aces. The starting libero each of her final two high school seasons, Grabiec was twice named to the all-academic team.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Grabiec earned her bachelor's degree in health science and psychology from Cleveland State in May 2012 and completed her master's degree in exercise science from ULM in May 2013. She claimed Dean's List recognition all four semesters as an undergrad and was earned the John Konstantinos Athletic Academic Honors each spring from 2009-12.
