Knuth comes to Tulane following a standout playing career at Florida State University.
In four seasons with Florida State's volleyball program, Knuth racked up several accolades and personal achievements. She was a NCAA Women of the Year nominee, a two-time AVCA All-American, a four-time ACC all-conference selection, the 2019 ACC defensive player of the year and the 2017 ACC freshman of the year. Knuth also served as a three-year team captain for the Seminoles from 2018-2021.
Off of the court, Knuth made an impact on her university as well. She served as the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) chair from 2019-2021. She also served in a leadership role as the director of digital media for Florida State University's mental health council. In both of these roles, Knuth coordinated, promoted and lifted student-athlete voices and initiatives. Additionally she served as an administration coordinator for the athletics department assisting the organization with a variety of hands-on projects for both the internal and external staffs.
Knuth demonstrated achievement in the classroom as a four-time all-ACC academic team and honor roll member. She earned her bachelor's degree in sports management with a psychology minor in 2020, followed by her master's degree in sports management in 2021. Knuth graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University.
