As Brandon Brown takes the court this season as a senior, Green Wave fans get a chance to witness what hard work and determination can do. After averaging just 1.1 points per game as a rookie, Brown has developed his game to a point where he has averaged double-figure scoring totals in each of the last two seasons and currently leads Tulane with 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. As a junior, Brown earned first-team NABC All-District, second-team LSWA All-Louisiana and second-team All-Conference USA honors after leading the team in scoring (14.8 ppg), and rebounding (7.4 rpg). Last season, Brown ranked sixth in C-USA and 32nd in the NCAA with a 55.3 shooting percentage, which ranks 10th-best all-time at Tulane. A native of Houma, La. and a graduate of Terrebonne High School, Brown is majoring in sociology.
