Baseball Regional Tickets Go On Sale Tuesday

NEW ORLEANS, La. - For Tulane University's ticket allotment to the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, ticket orders will accepted on Tuesday, May 27 only from baseball season ticket holders and Tulane Athletics Fund members at the $250 level and above only.
Baseball season ticket holders may apply for one ticket per season ticket held with a maximum of two. TAF members may apply for one ticket for every $250 level of contribution with a maximum two as well. A lottery will be conducted on Wednesday morning if the number of orders exceeds the number of tickets available. Tickets are available to the general public by calling the LSU ticket office starting Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
Regional ticket booklets are $45, and they may be purchased by phone (800-960-8587 or 225-578-2184), on-line at www.lsusports.net, or in person at the LSU ticket office, which is located on the first floor of theathletic administratino building. Phone and on-line orders will include a processing fee.
Individual-game tickets, which are $10 each, will be sold on game days only. Payments may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
Tulane opens Regional play on Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. when they take on third-seeded UNC-Wilmington at Alex Box Stadium. Other teams participating in the Regional are host LSU and No. 4 seed Northeastern. The double-elimination tournament begins on May 30 when the Tigers take on Northeastern at 2 p.m.
The winner of the Baton Rouge Regional will advance to play the champion of the Hattiesburg Regional in a Super Regional site yet to be determined. Teams playing in the Hattiesburg Regional are No. 1 seed Baylor, host Southern Miss, third-seeded Southern and No. 4 seed Murray State.
