Feb. 10, 2004
Broadcasts of the entire 2004 Tulane baseball season as produced by the Tulane ISP Sports Network will be available on the Green Wave's official athletic website (www.tulanegreenwave.com) as part of a national network of real-time sports programming provided by Yahoo! Sports in a subscription package.
The subscription package is available for $4.95 per month and a portion of all revenue from each subscription goes directly to the school's athletic department.
The Yahoo!Sports broadcasts will be the only way to listen to five February baseball games due to conflicts with the Green Wave women's basketball schedule. Additional games in March may be heard on Yahoo!Sports only depending on the basketball team's postseason schedule.
Audio broadcasts of home baseball games on Feb. 13 (vs. UT-Arlington, 6:30 p.m.), Feb. 15 (vs. UT-Arlington, 1 p.m.), Feb. 20 (vs. Maryland-Baltimore County, 6:30 p.m.), Feb. 22 (vs. Maryland-Baltimore County, 1 p.m.) and Feb. 27 (vs. Utah, 6:30 p.m.) will be available only by purchasing the Yahoo! subscription package, or within a small radius inside Turchin Stadium. All other games will be available via the Yahoo!Sports Subscription Package and at www.WRBH.org.
To access the audio broadcast links via TulaneGreenWave.com, click on the Audio/Video link on the left side of the home page, or click on "Audio Broadcasts" in the Live Coverage box.
The basic requirements to enjoy the Yahoo! service are an Internet connection, a Windows-based PC with Windows 98/2000/XP or a Mac Power PC with Mac OS X 10.0 or later, and Windows Media Player 7 or later (for Windows) or Windows Media Player 7.1 or Windows Media Player for Mac OS X (for Mac). More information is available at sports.yahoo.com.
