
Men's Tennis Sweeps Florida A&M

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane University did not drop a set as it cruised to a 7-0 victory over Florida A&M University in men's tennis action on Saturday afternoon at the Goldring Tennis Center.
The Green Wave, ranked No. 30 in the nation, improves to 10-4 with the victory, while Florida A&M drops to 14-6.
Tulane, which rested nationally-ranked Michael Kogan, won the doubles points with victories at all three positions. Then in singles, the Wave also swept for its second shutout win of the year.
The most impressive victories of the afternoon came from newcomers Ted Angelinos and Jacobo Hernandez. Angelinos, playing at No. 2 singles, had a 6-1, 6-1 win over David Russell, while Hernandez notched a 6-2, 6-1 win over Jarrell Williams at No. 6.
The Green Wave returns to action next Saturday, hosting No. 20 Pepperdine.
