Tell me about your first two years at Tulane.
My first two year at Tulane have been amazing, I just love everything about this place compared to where I was before. I really have something to compare it to. I love the organization here and everyone is so friendly. As soon as you need something my coach or someone else will try to help me solve my problem as best as they can. I just absolutely love it.
Tell me about your coach.
He is a very good coach; I really like to play for him. Whenever you are having problems with your swing or some other type of issue, he is always there to help you. I think he is good all around coach. It is good he knows the golf game because he really helps you with your technique. I really like that because not every coach knows how to help you with you swing, but he does and it's great that he can. He is very nice and takes good care of all of us. He makes our stay here very pleasant.
What is your favorite golf memory?
My favorite golf memory at Tulane was going to Nationals last year, especially since it was our first time. It was a really special experience being able to compete against all the best schools in the country. I was happy to share the experience with my whole team and everyone contributed. It was a very cool experience.
How old were you when you first started playing golf?
I was ten years old. I first started playing with my dad and then I started to play with a friend. We went to the golf course together a lot.
What has been the best golf course you've played on?
This is a tough question, I've played on so many good courses, but I'll have to say this course in France, in 2005, Golf National, in Paris. It is a really cool course; they have a European tournament on that course.
What drives you to compete?
I just love the feeling that I've put in so much effort into golf and when there's a competition you get to show off all your hard practice and work. It's your chance to prove yourself to yourself and others. I get to show off all the hard work I've put in. I just love to win. There's no feeling better than winning.
Who is your all time favorite athlete?
Annika Soremstam, I've been following her forever and I know a lot of stuff she's been doing.
Who is the most famous golfer you've ever met?
That's probably Annika as well, I've met her a couple of times.
Do you have any superstitions?
Um, no. Nothing like marking my ball or anything like some of the other girls on the team.
Do you have a ritual before you go out and play?
I always start by warming up on the range and then I go putting and do it in the same order. I don't always use the same clubs or use the same amount of balls, just in general, I start and end warming up in the same way.
What's your favorite aspect about golf other than winning?
It's so unpredictable. Even with practice, you can never predict what is going to happen. Every shot counts, and I think that makes it one of the hardest sports. One mistake can cost you the entire round. I just really like that it's so unpredictable, it makes it fun to practice because you can never be done. You can always work on something else in your game.
What is your favorite golf movie?
I love watching live golf. Happy Gilmore is funny, but I just absolutely love watching live golf, like tournaments, I'd rather watch that than golf movies.
