Head Coach Lisa Stockton
On the legacy of the 2011 Tulane Senior Class
"I hope that that is yet to be written. We certainly have some basketball ahead of us and we'll see where we go from there. I think they're special kids. They've been so loyal and so committed to the program. I'm glad they're going out a winner and we all hope we have a lot more basketball to play."
Overall thoughts on the game
"I think we're doing some really good things. In this game, I felt that our intensity dropped off a little bit late. When you look back on the Rice game where we played at a very high level, and I think that's where we need to be every night. This team is capable of doing that. I think that's what you have to look at - whether your team is capable of rising up. And this team is."
On the way her team is playing of late
"We've just been in so many games. I think one of our turning points was playing really well against Central Florida. At the end, we missed some shots that could have won it, but the Central Florida game was the best game we had played in the two weeks prior. I thought we built off that loss when we came in here against Memphis."
Senior Forward Danielle Nunn
On playing her final regular-season home game
"I don't think it's really hit me yet. It doesn't feel like this is my last home game. I took it as just another home game. I don't really want to think of it as my last home game as a senior. We played really, really well."
On what the win means to the team
"We just want to keep the momentum going. We have one more game and that's Houston. We know what they are capable of and what we have to do in order to be successful and beat them and that's what we're focusing on."
On the way the team has played down the stretch
"I feel like now we're back to our old ways again. We're sharing the ball. And as I said last week, we're just out there and having fun."
Senior Guard/Forward Tiffany Aidoo
On the emotions involved in playing on `Senior Day'
"At the beginning, I was a little nervous. We really wanted to win, but I was excited. It was a bunch of mixed emotions and a little bitter sweet. It was exciting just to get a win. We played really hard. I think we started off really nervous and I think you could tell. But we picked it up. I thought we did really well."
On what the win means for the team
"We're doing really well right now, and this is really going to help us as we wrap up conference play. We're playing Houston, who is No. 1 in the conference. If we can knock them off, that would be a great win for us. I think that would really help us out going into the conference tournament."
