Overall thoughts on the game
"We got it down to four, and then we gave up some plays. We turned the ball over, gave up some easy defensive plays and the game got out of hand again. They're a good team and you just can't go through streaks like that. We were fighting from behind. We were 15 points behind, get it to within four and can't finish it. You can't win giving up 81 points. You've got to find a way around that. We've got to figure out a way to not put people on the free throw line as much and not foul as much."
On what was Houston's big advantage in the first half
"I thought (it was) their transition offense. We weren't stopping them on their break. We'd miss a shot - we didn't shoot very well in the first half - and they got some easy points on the break. That's really where they went up. In the second half, we stopped that part of their game. We out-rebounded them. That was one of our goals coming in, but it wasn't enough because we just didn't shoot well enough."
On if Tulane's travel issues earlier in the week played a factor in Sunday's game
"I don't think so. I think they're a good team. It's definitely a different situation when they have the week off and we don't. But we've got to get up to play. This is a league where travel is going to be involved so that's really no excuse."
