Dec 21, 2014 | Men's Basketball
SEATTLE - Riding a nine-game winning streak, the Tulane men's basketball team takes to the road for just the second time this season when they visit unbeaten and 16th-ranked Washington on Monday at 10 p.m. CT at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Green Wave (9-1), who have not lost since the season opener on Nov. 17, are coming off a, 56-49, win over Jackson State on Friday afternoon in Devlin Fieldhouse. Washington (10-0) remained undefeated after a, 69-67, victory over No. 15 Oklahoma in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
"I feel good about where our team is and how we will be taking on this challenge," Tulane head coach Ed Conroy said. "Washington has a tremendous team and it will be a great experience for our guys. It should be a lot of fun, but we know that we will have to play our best basketball to come out on top."
The game will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network (click here for local channel information) and can also be heard live on the Tulane IMG Sports Network (106.1 FM locally in the New Orleans area).
Tulane is led by junior Louis Dabney's 13.1 points per game average after pouring in a season-high 22 points in the win over Jackson State on Friday. Senior Jay Hook (12.1 ppg) and sophomore Jonathan Stark (11.4 ppg) are also posting double figure scoring averages. As a team, the Green Wave is posting 72.9 points per contest and have outscored the opposition by 12.4 per game.

This is the second meeting between the two schools. Washington won the only other contest, 73-62, on Dec. 17, 2013 in Devlin Fieldhouse.
Following the game, Tulane will break for the holiday and return to the court on Dec. 28th when they face No. 22 St. John's in the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Green Wave's next game in Devlin Fieldhouse will be the American Athletic Conference home-opener against Temple on Jan. 7.
