NEW ORLEANS - With the start of a new basketball season looming right around the corner in November, the Tulane women's squad jet off to Orlando, Florida, for Monday's American Athletic Conference Media Day held in the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Representing the Green Wave along with head coach Lisa Stockton will be junior Leslie Vorpahl and sophomore Kolby Morgan.
Coverage from the event will begin Monday at Noon CT with a live video feed of Commissioner Mike Aresco's opening remarks, followed by a four-quarter style breakout session with the league's coaches and players. The four quarter session symbolizes the rule change to women's basketball this season, and will be moderated by LaChina Robinson once again. The entire session will be streamed live on The American Digital Network free of charge.
The Green Wave will be rotating throughout several stations in the afternoon such as, recording PSA's, talking with CBS SportsNetwork and The American Digital Network, a social station, and participating in a photo shoot session.
In addition, the 2015 American Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, as selected by members of the media, will be announced at Noon on Monday as well.
