NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's basketball trio of head coach Lisa Stockton, junior Kolby Morgan and senior Leslie Vorpahl will depart to Philadelphia this weekend to get ready for the American Athletic Conference Basketball Media Day, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24. Festivities will begin at approximately 10:45 a.m. CT with remarks from Commissioner Mike Aresco.
One of the highlights this year include live interview segments with each team, streaming on the American Digital Network. Coach Stockton and Vorpahl are scheduled to appear at 11:34 a.m.
Fans and media members are invited to follow along Monday's action through the Tulane women's hoops Twitter account, @GreenWaveWBB, along with The American's, @American_WBB. Additionally, full media day coverage can be found at TheAmerican.org/AmericanHoops.
In addition, the preseason poll, along with preseason player of the year, preseason rookie of the year and first and second-team all-conference honors will also be announced that day ahead of both the men's and women's sessions.
Lastly, ESPNU will have coverage of media day on College Basketball Live, beginning at 2 p.m. with Brendan Fitzgerald and Dino Gaudio in-studio and Tim Welsh on site in Philadelphia.
