QUOTE
"I'm really happy for this team. We worked really hard after a disappointing tournament last weekend, and this week it paid off. East Tennessee State is a tough team, and they fought back. But to win three tonight and last night is huge for this team because we didn't give up sets. We're getting tougher and playing at a higher level. I'm very proud of them to be able to play this well and rally like this."
--Tulane head coach Jim Barnes

Ray led the team in kills for the fourth match in a row with 14 on the night, while junior setter Justine Bowers raised her assist total to 144, averaging 13 per set on the weekend.
Following the match, Ray was named tournament MVP for her offensive efforts on the weekend that totaled 52 kills, while senior outside hitter Tea Juric garnered all-tournament honors for the third straight week after leading the tournament with 52 digs. Freshman Kaylie McHugh also earned a spot on the all-tournament team for her defensive efforts at libero.
