NEW ORLEANS - Coming off its first defeat of the season, the Tulane men's basketball looks to bounce back by putting its 3-0 home record on the line against Alcorn State on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.
The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) and will be broadcast locally on Cox Sports Television, as well as nationally on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. Tim Grubbs will deliver play-by-play commentary, with Jordy Hultberg providing color analysis. Meghan Kluth will also provide insight from the sidelines.

REYNOLDS CHASING 1,000 POINTS
• Redshirt senior Cameron Reynolds has scored 993 career points and needs just seven more to become the 36th player in program history to eclipse 1,000.Â
• The last Tulane player to reach that number was Louis Dabney in 2015-16, who finished with 1,471 points which ranks No. 9 in program history.
HISTORY LESSON
• The Green Wave will face the Braves for just the second time in program history and the first in six years.
• The first meeting occurred on Nov. 25, 2011 in the Hoops for Hope Classic in New Orleans, as Tulane cruised to an 83-41 victory. Four Green Wave players scored in double figures led by Ricky Tarrant's game-high 15 and Josh Davis' double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.
LAST TIME OUT
• Samir Sehic scored a career-high 20 points, but the Tulane men's basketball team suffered a 70-59 road loss at Georgia State, its first defeat of the season, on Sunday afternoon at the GSU Sports Arena.
• Sehic shot 6-for-10 overall and 8-for-9 at the free throw line and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench, while Melvin Frazier added 11 points, eight boards, three blocks, three steals and a pair of assists. Cameron Reynolds tied for a game high with 10 rebounds for Tulane.
• Malik Benlevi notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards, while Jordan Session contributed 15 points and 10 grabs off the glass for Georgia State (4-2).
• Tulane finished the game shooting 18-for-58 (.310) from the field and 3-for-21 (.143) from beyond the arc, while Georgia State went 24-for-62 (.387) overall and 8-for-21 (.381) from deep, including 6-for-10 (.600) in the second half. The Panthers outscored the Green Wave, 22-2, off turnovers and 13-7 on the fast break, while both sides scored 30 points in the paint.
SCOUTING THE BRAVES
• Picked to finish fourth in the Southwestern Athletic Conference preseason poll, Alcorn State returns 11 players from last year's team, including two starters and 2017 SWAC Coach of the Year Montez Robinson.
• Senior forward Reginal Johnson was voted as the league's Preseason Player of the Year, while sophomore Yalen Reed was tabbed Preseason Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Senior guard A.J. Mosby was also an all-conference second team choice.
• The Braves have been outscored by an averaged of 29.5 points in five road contests so far this season.
JAMAICAN HISTORY
• Tulane became the first team to win an NCAA Division I college basketball game in Jamaica in an 80-53 victory over Colorado State at the 2017 Jamaica Classic on Nov. 17.
• Melvin Frazier was voted MVP of the tournament, while Cameron Reynolds was chosen to the all-tournament team following Tulane's 2-0 showing in Montego Bay which, was capped by a 63-55 victory against Fordham on Nov. 19.
• Frazier scored 23 points in both games and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds against Fordham, while Reynolds poured in a game-high 25 points against Colorado State.
