NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's basketball team will close the book on its regular season on Senior Day when it hosts Tulsa for an American Athletic Conference tilt on Sunday, March 5. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

THE OPPONENT
• Tulsa (14-15, 8-9 AAC) enters Sunday's contest coming off a 93-70 road loss at 14th-ranked SMU on Thursday night and has dropped seven of its last nine games since starting conference play with a 6-2 record.
• The Golden Hurricane leads the league in free throw percentage (.731) and ranks fifth in rebounding margin (+1.6) and three-pointers made per game (7.4), but is last in offensive rebounds (9.7) and blocks (2.4) while standing second-to-last in field goal percentage defense (.433) and assists (11.6).

THE SERIES
• Sunday's matchup marks the 23rd all-time meeting between the Green Wave and Golden Hurricane, as Tulsa leads the series, 17-5, and has won eight in a row.
• Tulane's last win in the series came in a 75-72 decision at home on Jan. 19, 2013 as a member of Conference USA, while the Wave's last win in Tulsa came on Jan. 16, 2008 in a 67-65 overtime triumph.
• In the first matchup this season in Tulsa, the Green Wave began the game with a 15-3 scoring run, but eventually suffered an 89-82 defeat at the Reynolds Center on Jan. 18.
• Cameron Reynolds registered a double-double with 20 points and matched a career-high 12 rebounds, leading four Green Wave players in double-figures. Kain Harris added 15 points off the bench and Melvin Frazier contributed 14 points, while Ray Ona Embo chipped in 10 points, five assists and four rebounds.
• The Green Wave shot 18-for-35 (.514) in the second half and scored 54 points in the final 20 minutes – its largest scoring output in a half this season – while the team's 12 three-pointers made tied a season high.
• Tulsa was led by Sterling Taplin's game-high 24 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals.

LAST TIME OUT
• Tulane suffered a 92-70 American Athletic Conference defeat at Memphis in its final road game of the season on Thursday, March 2.
• Melvin Frazier led four Green Wave players in double-figures with 16 points and eight rebounds, Cameron Reynolds added 15 points, Ray Ona Embo chipped in 13 and Malik Morgan fell just shy of a triple-double with 10 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
• Tulane led by five points at halftime, but surrendered a season-high 58 points in the second half and allowed Memphis to shoot over 61 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes.
• Dedric Lawson led the Tigers with 29 points on 11-for-15 shooting to complement eight boards, as his brother K.J. Lawson chipped in 13 points and had six grabs off the glass. Jeremiah Martin finished the night with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists.
