NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's golf team returns to the course for its final tournament of the fall as it heads to the 2018 Battle at the Beach in Cabo, Mexico. The Green Wave will begin competition at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and will wrap up play on Sunday afternoon.

The three-day event will be held at the par 71, 6,202-yard Club Campestre San Jose Golf Club.

"Heading to Mexico to compete against another great field is a tremendous opportunity for our team," head coach Lorne Don said. "We've shown a lot of potential this fall and I know our team has the ability to compete against anyone. We're looking forward to a great weekend."

The Green Wave will face off against some of the nation's top programs, including No. 23 Auburn, No. 20 Baylor, Clemson, Denver, Houston, Iowa, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, No. 4 Texas, No. 25 TCU, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UNM, No. 2 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Virginia.

Tulane enters this weekend's tournament after it took part in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas on Oct. 19-21.

The lineup for the Green Wave this week includes senior Laura Munoz at No. 1, junior Haydyn Gibson at No. 2, sophomore Jennifer Rosenberg at No. 3, junior Gabrielle Correia at No. 4 and freshman Isabella Cardenas at No. 5.

Munoz enters this week's tournament with the team's best scoring average (74.1). She also holds the team lead with three rounds under par.
