Men's Cross Country Keeps No. 13 Regional Ranking

NEW ORLEANS – For the fourth week in a row, the Tulane men's cross country team earned the No. 13 ranking in the South Central Region in the regional polls announced on Monday by the USTFCCCA.
Tulane was No. 13 before the season started and has earned that spot in the poll for three consecutive polls since the regular season began.
Last weekend in College Station, Texas, senior Emmanuel Rotich crossed the finish line first as an individual, completing the 8K course in 23:43.3 in his first race of the season. That time was the third-best in Tulane history and came on the same track where the South Central Regional championship will be held in November.
Tulane's men took sixth overall in a challenging field that included multiple teams from the South Central Region.
The Green Wave cross country teams now have their longest stretch without competition during the year, as they will wrap up the regular season on October 13 at the Pre-National Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin. Tulane will then host the American Athletic Conference Championship on October 25 at Audubon Park.
